If you're seeking an unforgettable Thai dining experience, look no further than this charming, family-run gem. From the moment you step inside, you're transported straight to the vibrant streets of Thailand. The authentic décor creates an inviting atmosphere that feels worlds away from the typical restaurant scene. The food? Absolutely spectacular. Each dish bursts with authentic flavors—perfectly balanced between sweet, spicy, salty, and tangy notes. The Tom Yum soup delivers a satisfying kick, while the Pad Thai is a comforting classic done right. The Green Curry is rich, fragrant, and undeniably delicious. A standout on the menu is the Penang Curry. Slightly spicier than your average curry, it offers a delightful heat that’s balanced by its creamy sauce. The bold flavors meld beautifully with tender pieces of meat or perfectly cooked vegetables, making each bite a memorable experience. What makes this place even more special is the hospitality. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, making you feel like part of the family. They’re more than happy to recommend dishes or customize spice levels to suit your taste. Perhaps the best part? The prices are refreshingly affordable, proving that incredible food doesn’t need to come with a hefty bill. It’s clear that this isn’t a corporate chain but a labor of love by a family passionate about sharing their culinary heritage. If you appreciate authentic flavors, friendly service, and great value, this Thai restaurant is a must-visit. You'll leave with a full stomach, a happy heart, and a craving to come back for more

Having returned from south east Asia a few months ago, my partner and I were craving Thai food, and this place did not disappoint. The food is fresh, as tasty as it is in Thailand and very fairly priced. Absolutely amazing, highly recommended

Delicious authentic Thai food run by a husband and wife team. Popped in for lunch and had vegetarian spring rolls and chicken with ginger cooked to order. Lovely and a good price! They also do takeaway and are on the apps, plus they do Marshfield ice cream inside. There's also a Porcelain and Collectables shop attached at the back of the Baan Thai dining area.

The food was brilliant, plenty of flavour and the portion sizes were great. The place is a little small and lacked a wide selection of desserts but there was a lot of food to choose from. It was nice that they also had images on their menu, so if it's your first time trying Thai cuisine, you can get a good idea of what you're getting.

The most authentic Thai fishcakes and satays (not made by my Mum) that I've found in the UK! Proper Thai spicy on request, too! Loved it you get 20% discount for your first order with New20

A lovely cozy hidden gem! It's a husband and wife run place, and their son also helps out with service. The wife's the chef and I believe she's Thai.. So the good is genuinely authentic... One bite and you will 100% agree. The food is divinely delicious! And reasonably priced to boot! Everything is made from scratch upon ordering so while this may take some time ( nothing unreasonable) the food is well worth the wait! It's now my family's new favorite You absolutely cannot go wrong with this choice. The spice levels are also marked on the menu for each dish, which is true to indication. Since it's hidden in the alleyway besides Clarks shoes, you would have to find street parking or park at orchard or at the back at the church

We had a lovely dinner at Baan Thai. The food was enjoyable — especially the green curry with bamboo, which was full of flavour. What really made the evening stand out was the excellent service. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming, which made us feel very well looked after. You can really feel the care they put into hosting their guests. Thank you for a lovely evening — we appreciate the effort, and it was definitely worth the trip!

Super nice food. We shared some Thai fishcakes then I had pepper garlic chicken both very good. Can't say much on atmosphere as we were the only customers at the time.
